It has been said “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” This is a misstatement, a twisting of facts. Improperly made or followed decisions may lead to grief.
I learned long ago that when I made a choice, set an intention, i.e., chose a path, while in a certain energy state such as in meditation, I automatically do whatever is necessary to follow through. If I change my mind in a different [lower] energy level, I still take the steps required to fulfill the original decision. It is necessary to shift to the original energy level or higher and to then modify the decision. These experiences show the power of decision making.
One such decision was the desire to travel to and from work safely, without negative incidents. This was when I began driving myself to work instead of using public transportation in the mid 1980s.
I would be ready to leave for work, then start doing something. I wondered why. There was a serious accident a block from the house. Another time, I saw a traffic jam while there was still an opportunity to avoid it.
Body and Soul were working together [without the mind] to ensure safe and timely travel. I soon began asking is it time to leave? These departure delays happened so often that my work day was switched from 9am - 5pm to 9:30am - 5:30pm, leaving for work at 9am instead of 8am.
We can all make beneficial decisions. Nature gives us what we need. She does not give us abilities beyond our use or need. We must choose our goals, however, in a proper energetic state. If some components are beyond our control, we can manifest them by writing down in positive statements what we wish in our life. We can put it on our calendar, read the goal aloud daily, visualize it occurring in our life. This is called intuitive goal setting. We eliminate doubts, blocks and negative thoughts by replacing them with positive affirmations and carefully chosen words.
Suppose we are looking for a car. We can say: I see myself driving a dark green, 4 door, standard shift, low maintenance, affordable vehicle getting at least 30 mpg. In 2007, my black 1997 automatic Honda was stolen. It was declared “totaled” by the insurance company. I made the above choices and quickly found a dark green 2000 Honda, 4 door, standard shift, for almost the same amount as the insurance company was giving me, running 30 plus mpg.
We can and do manifest our choices. Care in deciding and how we express it is what to watch.
At this major turning point in the history of this universe, making careful decisions is a must for our survival. NOW is the time for all good souls to stand together, arm to arm and back to back. Decide OR not. Not deciding is a decision.
Regularly check sources. Accurate info helps. Listen to Soul Voice. Train Ego that the safest choices are based on truth and that Soul knows. Ego’s job is to keep us safe so it may listen to Soul better than Personality does at times if it is properly trained. Give it a job.
We are in charge. Are we united in self?
